- Denise Keenan Added September 28, 2017★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆All outside tables at other nearby cafes were full, but at 9.00am on a Sunday this café had only one group of 4 who were sitting inside (a bad sign, I suppose).
I sat at an outside table and was given a menu and water. after 18mins I ventured inside with my order as I had obviously been forgotten. How does this happen when only one other table is occupied??
I ordered poached eggs on sourdough with smashed avo on side. When it came there was one very small piece of toast. Yes I could have asked for another but how mean was this - how much does an extra slice of bread cost?
I went to pay the bill. The girl at the till took an extraordinarily long time to bring up my order and bill. (there were still only several people in the café). It was $18.30 and I handed her $50.30 and received $30 back. I had to ask for the missing $2.
Ok, one incident might be trivial, but put together it is very annoying. There must be a reason why all the other cafes were full!
